At Celler Cadevall we are very clear that wine is made in the vineyard and that is why respect for the natural environment is very important to us, preserving the biodiversity of the different plant species. At Celler Cadevall we intervene in the land to a minimum, we do not till, we leave it covered with spontaneous and planted vegetation that is always controlled and we incorporate into the soil the vegetable remains generated during the entire winemaking process, manure and straw (mulching), with the aim of revitalizing the soil and plants.
The vineyards that we manage directly are in Olesa de Montserrat and in Castellbisbal, in all of them the methods and treatments that we carry out follow the guidelines for organic farming as well as the principles of regenerative agriculture and the Jadam methodology.
Several green prunings are carried out by hand during the different growth phases of the vineyard in order to find a balance between the vine and the ripening of the fruit and thus improve the quality of the grapes, essential to obtain a good wine.
The harvest is carried out at the optimum point of ripeness of the clusters and the harvest is carried out manually and in boxes of 15 kg, carrying out a first pre-selection of the grapes during the harvest in the vineyard itself.
