CELLER CADEVALL BLANC Vintage: 2022

Variety: Xarel lo
Origin of the grape: 100% vineyards managed in the same municipality
Soil type: Clay-calcareous
Age of the vines: Between 50 and 60 years
Plantation type: In glass
Cultivation: No tillage, spontaneous cover and manually aerated soil. Management of the vineyard completely by hand without any type of machinery, only clearing and applying treatments. Meticulous green pruning work during all the necessary moments of the campaign.
Harvest date: September 1
Elaboration: Manual harvest and selection of the grapes in the vineyard in boxes of 10-15 kg. Entry of the whole grape, destemming, crushing, pressing and static settling of the resulting must at 13ºC for 24 hours. Start of spontaneous fermentation after 4 days without adding yeast, fermentation in a 1000l stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature throughout the process, maceration in fine lees for 3 months. Smooth filtering.

Tasting note: It has a nice straw yellow color. Intense aroma of fresh fruit, with elegant notes of fruits such as apple, apricot and pineapple. On the palate it is voluminous and friendly, very well outlined and with a silky texture that runs through the palate. It is refreshing and pleasant, with a pleasant mineral finish.
A balanced and elegant wine with a fair acidity that makes a round young white wine without the need to drink it excessively cold.
Pairing: Perfect to accompany fish, seafood, rice and pasta
Serving temperature: We recommend between 6 and 10ºC.

CELLER CADEVALL NEGRE Vintage: 2022

Age of the vines: Between 7-10 years
Plantation type: Trellis
Cultivation: No tillage, spontaneous cover and manually aerated soil. Management of the vineyard completely by hand without any type of machinery, only clearing and applying treatments. Meticulous green pruning work during all the necessary moments of the campaign.

Tasting note: It has a nice ruby red color. Aroma of ripe fruit, with elegant notes reminiscent of cherry and red fruit. On the palate it is intense, enveloping, fluid and pleasant with a finish that turns into a balsamic aftertaste.
A wine with character and a marked tannin due to its youth that will refine over time. We recommend decanting a few minutes before enjoying it.
Pairing: To enjoy with grilled meats, rice dishes, legumes.
Serving temperature: We recommend between 14-16ºC.
